CRANFORD, NJ — Meet Daisy and Simon! They have been chosen as Cranford Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"Meet Daisy and Simon, English Setters owned and loved by Cranford Dentist Brian Silverman and his Wife, Donna.

Sweet companions, English Setters are intelligent, gentle, affectionate, graceful... and mischievous. Their people wouldn't have it any other way!

Daisy loves the sun and is an extremely easy-going girl. Simon basically likes to follow you wherever you go and loves to snuggle with his sis. Oh, and they like to stalk ("set") birds while on walks and in the yard."

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com with subject line "Cranford Pet Of The Week." Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the town you're from. You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today.
