Delayed Opening For Bernards Township Schools

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — All Bernards Township Schools will be on a two-hour delayed opening schedule on Monday, the district announced Sunday night.

Ridge High will begin at 10:20 a.m., William Annin will begin at 9:30 a.m. and all elementary schools will begin at 11 a.m. The buses are on a two-hour delay and there is no before care.

Full lunch service is available at the high school, while the middle school offers a limited selection of cold lunch options and snacks. There is no lunch service at the elementary schools; therefore, elementary students are encouraged to bring snacks.

Students from Ridge High School and William Annin Middle School attending the trip to Radio City should check their Google Classroom for instructions.

Monday: A slight chance of snow showers after 3 p.m. Increasing clouds, with a high near 30. Northwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Monday Night: Cloudy, then gradual clearing toward daybreak, with a low around 17. West wind around 5 mph, becoming calm after midnight.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 32. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 21. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph after midnight.
