Fentanyl Documentary Screening, Narcan Training To Be Held In Basking Ridge
Following a brief discussion, there will be a Narcan Training.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A free documentary screening and Narcan training will be held on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m. at the Bernards Township Library.
Prevention Resource’s newest documentary, "Facing Fentanyl" is intended to educate the community about the dangers of Fentanyl and features local stories of those affected by the opioid crisis. The documentary run time is 18 minutes.
Following a brief discussion, there will be a Narcan Training. Naloxone (Narcan) is a drug that reverses the effects of an opioid or heroin overdose.

Naloxone training is funded by the New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services and will be facilitated by the Opioid Overdose Prevention Network (OOPN) at the Division of Addiction Psychiatry at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
This is open to all community members over the age of 18. Seating is limited.

In partnership with the Bernards Township Health Department, Bernards Township Municipal Alliance, Governor’s Council on Substance Use Disorder, the Opioid Overdose Prevention Network (OOPN) at the Division of Addiction Psychiatry at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Safe Communities Coalition, Prevention Resources, Community in Crisis and Connection, and part of the Bernards Township Mayor’s Wellness Campaign.
