Captain Burger is more than capable and brings a high level of experience and will surely continue to make the department successful," Shimsky previously said of Burger’s temporary leadership appointment.
The promotion came roughly six months after Burger was promoted to the position of captain from lieutenant on June 1. His annual salary was listed as $168,714, per TAPinto Basking Ridge.
