Overturned Crash Cleared On I-287, Delays Remain In Somerset County

Morning commuters taking Interstate 287 North can continue to expect heavy delays on Wednesday morning.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — An overturned vehicle on Interstate 287 North has been cleared as of 9:30 a.m., however, delays remain in Basking Ridge on Wednesday.

The crash was reported just before 7:50 a.m. on the northbound side just south of Exit 26 - for County Route 525/Mount Airy Rd in Bernards Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation's 511NJ website.

As a result, the 3 left lanes were closed of the 4 total lanes.

Heavy traffic remains on the northbound side just north of Exit 22 - for Route 202 in Bedminster Township to the crash site. The current travel time is 10 to 15 minutes as of 9:40 a.m.
