BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Snow blanketed the area causing schools to switch to virtual and bringing a winter wonderland to close out the week.

In Somerset County, Somerville ranked the highest with 6 inches. It wasn't far behind the highest recorded amount in New Jersey which is West Freehold with 7 inches.
