Stray Dog Found At Train Station, Now Up For Adoption In Basking Ridge

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A stray dog found at the Lyons Train Station is looking for his "furever" family and it up for adoption.

The German Shepherd was found a few weeks ago by the Bernards Township Animal Control at the NJ Transit train station off South Finley Road (adjacent to Lyons Mall).

The dog was taken into custody by animal control and later named Rebel.

"This sweet boy is now up for adoption!" said the Bernards Township Police Department.

Rebel is a seven-year-old male German Shepherd who loves to play fetch and spend time with people. He is best suited for a home without other pets and with an experienced Shepherd owner.
