• Flood Mitigation Mayors Group In Ocean County Earns State Honor (patch.com) — Bay Head is part of a 10-town Barrier Island Flood Consortium that just won a statewide planning award for its regional approach to chronic flooding. Bay Head’s mayor and shared administrator are helping lead efforts to secure major grants, coordinate data, and design projects like pumps, higher bulkheads, and floodgates that could directly reduce nuisance flooding and storm impacts across the area.
