• 12 NJ Towns Waive $150 Carry Permit Fee After Rights Push (thetruthaboutguns.com) — Beachwood residents who apply for a concealed-carry permit no longer have to pay the town’s $150 share of the fee, after local officials joined a growing list of New Jersey municipalities waiving it. Combined with a recent court ruling against the state’s $50 portion, this push by gun-rights groups is sharply reducing the overall cost of getting a carry permit across the state.
