3 Lost Dogs In Belleville, Including 2 Near Newark, Bloomfield

One of the pooches has been reunited with its owner, Belleville police said.

BELLEVILLE, NJ — Belleville police are asking for help finding the owners of some lost dogs, authorities reported Tuesday.

The Belleville Police Department shared a photo of one dog on social media, which was found in the area of Union Avenue and Mill Street, near the border of Belleville and Newark.

Anyone with information can contact the police department at 973-450-3334, authorities said.

Other lost dogs have been found in the township this week, Belleville police say. They include a pooch found near Watsessing Avenue on the Bloomfield border – who was later reunited with its owner – and another dog found near Belleville Avenue and Cortlandt Street.
