ATM User In Nutley Flashes Knife While Waiting On Line: Police
The man allegedly got "irate" at another person while waiting in line at an ATM, police said.
NUTLEY, NJ — An ATM user flashed a knife at another person waiting on line during a “suspicious” encounter in Nutley last week, authorities say.
The Nutley Police Department released the following details about the incident, which took place on Sept. 1 on Kingsland Street:
“Officers responded on report of a male party displaying a knife towards the caller. The victim stated that while waiting in line for the ATM, a male party became irate and advised they were in line before them. The victim stated that the suspect did not make any direct threats prior to leaving the scene.”
The surrounding area was canvassed for further information and the detective bureau was advised, police said.
