Attempted Burglary In Nutley; Door And Window Screen Damaged: Police
Damage was found on the rear door and to the exterior screen of a window, Nutley police said.
NUTLEY, NJ — An attempted burglary was reported on Humbert Street in Nutley last week, police say.
The Nutley Police Department released the following details about the incident, which took place on April 22:
“Officers responded on report of an attempted burglary. Officers observed damage to the rear door and to the exterior screen of a window. The resident advised officers that the damage was new and not there prior. Officers cleared the interior of the residence and it appeared the suspect was unable to gain entry. The surrounding area was canvassed for further information.”
The detective bureau was advised and responded to the scene, authorities said.
