Belleville-Nutley Weekend Weather: Will It Rain? See Latest Forecast

BELLEVILLE-NUTLEY, NJ — It might get a little soggy on Friday. But the rest of the weekend is looking like it will be rain-free in Nutley and Belleville, weather forecasters predict.

As the old saying goes: “March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb.” That’s the case so far in Essex County, where – despite the prediction of an early spring from the Turtle Back Zoo’s resident groundhog earlier this year – wild weather has continued to cause headaches for towns in the area.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers or sprinkles before 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42. North wind 6 to 9 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 60. Northwest wind 6 to 10 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon.

Saturday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 46. South wind around 9 mph.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 59. West wind 10 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 37.
