Burglaries Reported At Nutley Business, Home
Nutley police released details about two burglaries that took place in the township.
NUTLEY, NJ — Nutley police have released details about two recent burglaries that took place in the township.
According to the Nutley Police Department, the following incidents were reported last month:
Oct. 14 (Franklin Avenue) – “Officers responded to the report of a burglary. Upon arrival, officers observed the front door of the business damaged, drawers rummaged through, and items strewn on the floor. Three suspects dressed in all-black clothing and face coverings were observed exiting a dark-blue BMW SUV prior to damaging the door and entering. The store owner was advised of the incident and arrived on scene. The Detective Bureau was advised and arrived on scene to process.”

Oct. 17 (Wayne Place) – “Officers responded to the report of a burglary. The victim stated that they were missing a backpack containing a laptop as well as their wallet and other items. They stated that they did not observe any damage to their residence at the time. The victim was advised to cancel any credit cards they had in their wallet and to monitor their financial accounts. The surrounding area was canvassed for further information, and the Detective Bureau was advised.”
