Former Olympian to Teach Nutley Basketball Clinic
1980 U.S. Olympic team women's basketball captain Carol Blazejowski to teach four-day summer hoops clinic.
Carol Blazejowski, one of the most legendary trailblazers in women’s basketball will be instructing this four-day basketball clinic from July 29 – Aug. 1.
The Nutley resident and hall of fame inductee was named an All-American in 1976, 1977, and 1978, and won the first Wade Trophy for the Women’s Basketball Player of the Year in 1978. She was the U.S. Olympic team women’s basketball captain in 1980 and holds the men’s and women’s collegiate single game scoring record in Madison Square Garden with 52 points.
She was inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame in 1999, the James A. Naismith National Basketball Hall of Fame in 1994 and the Montclair State University Athletic Hall of Fame in 1989.

Two sessions will be available: session 1 will be available for grades 3-5 from 9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. and session 2 will be available for grades 6-8 from 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
This clinic will be held at the Parks and Recreation Department at 44 Park Ave. The fee for this program is $50.00.

Online registration is available at www.nutleynj.org. Spplications may also be submitted to the Parks and Recreation Department at 44 Park Ave. Make checks payable to Township of Nutley/Bball Camp.
