‘Dogs For Sale’: Nutley Buyer Ripped Off, Police Say
The victim told Nutley police that they found an ad about "dogs for sale" and sent the seller about $250.
NUTLEY, NJ — Someone was apparently ripped off by a person offering dogs for sale, Nutley police recently announced.
A resident reported the theft at Nutley police headquarters on Dec. 9, authorities said.
The victim told police that they found an ad about “dogs for sale” and reached out about a potential deal, sending the seller about $250. The seller eventually stopped answering messages – prompting the buyer to report the incident as a theft by deception, authorities said.
