Ground Broken On New Medical Building At ON3 In Nutley, Clifton
Construction is underway for Hackensack Meridian Health's new ambulatory care center at the ON3 complex in Nutley and Clifton.

NEW JERSEY — Construction is underway for a new ambulatory care center at the ON3 complex in Nutley and Clifton, a firm announced Tuesday.
According to Prism Capital Partners, Hackensack Meridian Health’s 80,000-square-foot facility will be set on the southeast corner of Metro Boulevard and Route 3 in Clifton. It will be part of the ON3 complex, which is also located in Nutley.
Prism Construction Management is developing the four-story building. The Gensler-designed facility, which features a glass curtain wall façade, will include an ambulatory surgical center as well as additional multi-specialty practice areas. An attached parking structure will provide 400 spaces for occupants and visitors.

Gensler is also Hackensack Meridian Health’s interior designer for the project.
Gensler’s co-managing director Reid Brockmeier said the new center will serve as “the gateway to ON3,” and that it draws inspiration from the campus’ former life as a “health care and sciences ecosystem.” Read More: More Growth At Ex-Hoffmann-La Roche Site In Nutley, Clifton

Hackensack Meridian Health already occupies academic, and research and development space at ON3, which is home to the organization’s School of Medicine and Center for Discovery and Innovation (an NIH-designated Clinical Research Center).
“Hackensack Meridian Health has been committed to ON3 from the start,” said Eugene Diaz, principal partner at Prism Capital.
“We take great pride in our expanding relationship and our ability to accommodate this healthcare leader’s diverse needs in a single location,” Diaz added.
According to Prism Capital, ON3’s existing 1.45 million square feet of office and R&D/lab space is 100 percent occupied, and more than two million square feet of new space is planned for the site.
Other occupants at the site include Eisai Inc., Quest Diagnostics, the Ralph Lauren Corporation, Seton Hall University’s Graduate College of Nursing and School of Health and Medical Sciences, Modern Meadow, and Y-mAbs Therapeutics.
