BELLEVILLE, NJ — With the winter holidays officially in the rearview mirror, there’s a new question on the mind of many Belleville residents: How do I get rid of my Christmas tree?

For 2025, the town will be picking up old Christmas trees from Monday, Jan. 6 to Friday, Jan. 24.

Residents should place their trees at the curb on their regular scheduled pickup day. All trees must be free of lights, ornaments and plastic wrap.
