Jersey Girls Wrestling; 2025 Preseason Nationals in Iowa

Great representation by New Jersey all capturing All American Status

It was the weekend before Halloween. The 2025 Brian Keck Preseason Nationals in Iowa brought competition from 30 plus states. Girl wrestling growth was in the front of our eyes with increased Girl competition from all ages. Our Jersey girls showed great wrestling and sportsmanship. Tyanna Evans from Vineland, Madision Sepelya from North Hunterdon, and Luci Tiankee from Belleville, all showed great representation collectively all reaching the National finals.

The relationships was one of kind and memories last a lifetime. The friendships go off the mat and was the same feelings when all was ready for weigh ins. The girls stood ready to conquer the first match: the scale. With no luck needed all was successful making the weight they chose and later paired up with the best of competition. Competition that our wrestlers toed the line with Washington, Wisconsin, Missouri, Indiana, Georgia, and the States goes on.

Overall the girls overcame expectations with Evans earning Gold, Sepelya and Tiankee earning Silver. Our girls ended all in the Finals with a combined 9 wins!
