Letter to the Editor: Nutley Race Attracted Over 200 Runners

Dear Editor:

For the past 15 years, it has been my honor to Chair the Nutley Chamber of Commerce 5k Fun Run. And over those years, I am happy to say that it has continued to grow in size and ambition. This year, we had over 200 runners.

The event would never be as successful without the help of all of our sponsors, volunteers, prize contributors, the township offices and of course, the runners. Special thanks this year to all of the Nutley High School students who handed out water to our thirsty runners. Great Job!

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Chamber’s Township Beautification Fund. That fund allows us to take care of the town planters and make an annual donation to Nutley’s Earth Day projects.
