Luxury Apartment Complex In Belleville Opens For Leasing

BELLEVILLE, NJ — A mixed-use complex with hundreds of apartments is now open for leasing in Belleville, developers announced Thursday.

Dubbed “REV by Vermella,” the building at 630 Washington Avenue has 268 luxury apartments and 19,000 square feet of retail space. It is located directly across from the Belleville Motorcycle Mall – which partnered with Russo Development to build the property.

The leasing debut marks a new future for the site, which was designated as a non-condemnation area in need of redevelopment in September 2020.

It also represents a watershed moment for the Resciniti family, which owns the Motorcycle Mall and has had a “motorcycle presence” in New Jersey since 1975.

“Partnering with Russo on REV represents a milestone for my family and the Motorcycle Mall, especially on the 50th year anniversary of our third-generation business,” John C. Resciniti III said.

Studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments are available. Amenities include a roof lounge, coworking and private meeting rooms, a fitness center with a private fitness room, club room and lounge seating with dining space, pet spa, private parking, game spaces, a bar area, and a “resort-style pool” with a sundeck and grills.

REV will offer its tenants a private shuttle to nearby transit hubs. The property also includes a piazza that will provide a gathering space for residents, retail patrons and the surrounding community, developers said.

The complex is the fourth addition to Russo’s Vermella-branded portfolio of luxury residences in Essex County. Other properties are located in Verona, Newark and Orange.
