NFL’s David Merritt Talks Sports, Life In Nutley (VIDEO)

Merritt, who lived in the township, joined the Inside Nutley Podcast to talk football, adding some local nostalgia into the mix.

NUTLEY, NJ — Four-time Super Bowl winning Kansas City Chiefs and New York Giants Defensive Backs coach David Merritt recently spoke about his career and raising a family in Nutley as part of a podcast series.

Merritt, who lived in the township, joined the Inside Nutley podcast to talk football, adding some local nostalgia into the mix. He shared stories about such legends as Eli Manning, Patrick Mahomes, Don Shula, Andy Reid, Tom Coughlin and Michael Strahan, as well as his favorite memories of his 14 years in Nutley.

Hosted by lifelong resident Thomas Greco, the monthly podcast provides a look at current town issues, explores how the town is moving forward, spotlights residents and businesses and answers questions from Nutley residents.
