What’s a chimney cake? According to a news release from the shop:
“Kürtősh are a popular street food from Central Europe that offers a crispy, flavorful outside and a soft, fluffy inside. Kurly Kürtősh is a highly recognized kürtősh bakery in New Jersey, using pure international ingredients along with authentic old-world craftsmanship ― Shaw-Provillon learned her craft while living abroad in Budapest for several years and has been invited to bake at the Hungarian embassy in Washington D.C.”
In addition to this classic pastry, the shop’s menu also includes its beloved “Kurly Kones,” a cone-shaped kürtősh topped with gourmet ice cream. Shaw-Provillon said the unique treats have quickly become the store’s best-selling item.

Crew, Citigroup and Unilever. The combination of this unique dessert and creative concept even caught the attention of Bank of America, which used their Women Business Owner feature to spotlight Shaw-Provillon in 2019.
