Nutley Farmer’s Market To Hold ‘Peach Party’: 2025 Summer Events

Get your whisks ready! Commissioner Dr. Joseph P. Scarpelli invites all to celebrate New Jersey’s favorite summer fruit at the annual “Peach Party” on Sunday, Aug. 3 at the Nutley Farmer’s Market. The Commissioner invites all amateur chefs to bring a homemade peach dish to the market to be judged by members of the culinary and non-culinary community. The winner will be posted on the Township of Nutley social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)

Bakers should bring their peach dishes and printed original recipes to the Greenutley table at the Nutley Farmer’s Market (Booth Drive between Franklin Avenue and Vincent Place) between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025. Judging will begin at 11 a.m. and one winner will be announced after the tastings and deliberations conclude. In the meantime, you can plan to visit the Greenutley Information Booth where there will be peach samples, brochures, recipe books, and activity worksheets for the kids.

By participating, you agree to have your recipe published in related communications from the Nutley Farmers Market, Greenutley, and the Township of Nutley in any/all communication and promotional channels.

If peaches aren’t your favorite, you can still look forward to all your favorite Jersey Fresh summer produce, tasty food, cold beverages, flowers, and handmade goods at the Nutley Farmer’s Market.

Still looking for competition but baking isn’t your forte? Look no further than our Biggest Tomato & Zucchini Contest on Aug. 18! Bring your extra-large tomatoes and zucchini to the Greenutley tent for weigh-in between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. Winners will be announced at noon.

Every week, we welcome your donations of fresh produce and non-perishables along with pet food/pet care items to help keep Nutley Family Service Bureau's food pantry stocked for neighbors in need.
