Car Stolen, Vehicle Burglaries Under Investigation in Nutley

Nutley police said thieves broke into two cars and stole a third parked near Williams Street on the same night

According to Nutley police records, two cars were reported as having been broken into on Saturday, July 20.  Police said one vehicle was rummaged through and the GPS system and change were robbed from the car.  

A second car was also rummaged through but police said nothing was missing from the car.

A third car, described as a white 1998 Volkswagen, was stolen from a parking lot. Police said there were no signs of forced entry to the stolen car.  

Nutley police said detectives are working on leads pertaining to the car theft and car burglaries.
