Pizza-Related Fraud Reported In Nutley Via Slice App: Police

Someone hacked a Nutley resident's Slice account and ordered nearly $300 worth of pizza, authorities said.

NUTLEY, NJ — A Nutley resident reported a pizza-related case of fraud via the Slice app last week, authorities said.

According to the Nutley Police Department, the victim said that the fraud took place via an account she created on Slice, which was hacked.

The victim – who reported the crime on April 5 – said that several orders were placed in the New York state area, averaging $65 per order. The total fraudulent charges came to nearly $300, authorities said.
