Pro Soccer Stars Visit Clara Maass Hospital In Belleville To Cheer Up Patients, Staff
The Gotham FC standouts took time to sign autographs, speak with fans and pose for photos.
BELLEVILLE, NJ — Some professional soccer stars recently paid a visit to hospitals across North Jersey to brighten up the day for patients and staff, including one in Belleville.
Gotham FC players made a trip to several RWJBarnabas Health hospitals earlier this month, including Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville. The players took time to sign autographs, speak with fans and pose for photos with patients and staff members.
The visitors to Clara Maass included stalwart defender Jess Carter, who just returned after leading the England Women’s National Team to capture the 2025 UEFA Women’s European Championship, and standout goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger, who led Germany to the semifinals at the Euros.
