Registration Underway for Nutley Chamber 5K Fun Run

The Nutley Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its annual 5K “Fun Run” Sunday, May 5 at the Park Oval, Franklin Avenue and Chestnut Street.

Some of the proceeds from the event benefit the chamber’s township beautification fund.

The entry fee for the event, open to both adult and younger runners, is $20 if paid before April 20 ($25 after) for adults and $5 for children 8 and under (the children’s fee is waived with an adult registration).

Runners can pre-register from 10 am to 2 pm weekdays at chamber offices, 172 Chestnut St. Applications for runners can also be mailed to the same address.

Awards for this run, which is considered slightly challenging, will be given in the following categories: first, second and third overall, male and female; and first place for those aged 14 and younger; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70 and older.
