Week ahead Belleville

Nutley’s Good Shepherd Academy is having a Science Fair on Tuesday starting at 5:30 p.m. at the school’s gym.  Exhibits reportedly include molars a student obtained from a dentist that will be set in bottles of coke to show how the beverage eats thru the teeth.  Fourth through eighth graders were invited to participate.

On Wednesday, Nutley’s Zoning Board and Planning Board will hold a joint a meeting at Town Hall. The announcement for the meeting noted that enough members of the Board of Commissioners will be present at the meeting to make a quorum.

Nutley officials will be busy this week planning for the township’s annual Memorial Day parade on May 27. As in years past, Nutley Mayor Alphonse Petracco will be inviting family members of soldiers, past and present to march in the parade.
