“Essex County College has a long-standing tradition of providing workforce development opportunities for the residents of Newark and Essex County.  At our combined career fairs last year, we welcomed close to 2,000 attendees who met with over 100 employers in our region.  There were attendees who were interviewed and hired on the spot,” said ECC President Gale E. Gibson.  “We are enthusiastic about our new partnership with the City of Newark so that we can expand our outreach even farther into the communities and assist even more residents with finding jobs.”
