The Lights of Belleville, Set to Music

In this video we give you a brief — and by no means comprehensive — tour of the  splendid holiday displays set up in front yards all across town right now. The homes selected for our little montage are not meant to be "the best," just representative of how you and your neighbors choose to express the joy of the season.

Photographer Antonella Rao went to homes all over Belleville — in the Valley, Silver Lake and that vast stretch of town bounded to the east by Washington Avenue and to the north and west by Nutley and Bloomfield. From the grandiose to the understated, from moving, mechanical displays to trimming in mellow lights, we offer here a flavor of what the township has to offer.
