I would like to bring to your attention that after a decade of service, the Belleville Town Council has decided to hire a new Solid Waste (garbage) Contractor. There were several reasons why we have chosen to go with a new company, but most importantly the level of service provided to our community was inadequate and failed to meet our expectations.

The new contract begins on March 1, 2022, and we are hopeful for a smooth transition. We ask for your patience during the first few weeks as the new contractor becomes familiar with our garbage/recycling routes. To ensure household garbage is collected properly, please adhere to the following:
- When discarding bulk (Furniture) please do not put out more than 3 pieces at any given time
- When discarding mattresses, they must be enclosed in a plastic covering (Lowe's and Home Depot provide such coverings)
- Recycling cannot be placed out in plastic bags
With your cooperation, we are confident that we will be providing a much needed, improved service to our community.
