Trio Steal 1990 Lincoln Off Belleville Car Lot, Cops Say

Three men drove off with a car from a Belleville auto lot last week, police said.

The men walked on to the Pioneer Auto lot on 90 Washington Ave. in Belleville last Wednesday and asked a salesman if they could look at a 1990 Lincoln Mark VII, police said.

The salesmen handed over the key to the three men inquiring about the car before stepping inside the office, police said.

The men sped off in the car while the salesman was inside, police said.

The National Automobile Dealers Association website Nadaguides.com reports that the price of a 1990 Lincoln Mark VII was originally about $30,000 and now ranges from $1,650 to $8,150.
