‘True Sports Trailblazer’ From Nutley Shares Her Story (VIDEO)

Women's basketball legend Carol Blazejowski was featured on the "Inside Nutley Podcast," which spotlights inspiring local icons.

NUTLEY, NJ — A “true sports trailblazer” from Nutley was recently featured on an ongoing podcast series that spotlights interesting and inspiring local residents.

Women’s basketball legend and longtime Nutley resident Carol Blazejowski was the latest guest on the “Inside Nutley Podcast,” speaking to host Thomas Greco about her pioneering women's basketball career, from Cranford to Montclair State to the USA Olympic team to the NBA – and ultimately as a key figure in the formation of the WNBA.
