Veterans Day In Nutley, Belleville: Town Halls Closed For Holiday
A public ceremony will take place in Nutley on Tuesday to celebrate the holiday.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — Belleville and Nutley are preparing to mark the 2025 Veterans Day holiday.
Veterans Day is held to honor the nation’s veterans for their “patriotism, love of country and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good,” according to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
The town halls in Belleville and Nutley will each be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11 in observance of the holiday.

Nutley will hold a Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at the Commissioners Chambers on the third floor of Town Hall (1 Kennedy Drive), or at the WWII Monument based on weather conditions. The event is being hosted by the Nutley Department of Public Affairs and Health, in partnership with the Military and Veterans Affairs Bureau and the Nutley Veterans Council. Learn more here.
