Bernards High Dramatists Presenting 'The Crucible'

More than 40 students involved in the production.

Bernards High School students are making final preparations for Arthur Miller’s 1953 Tony award winning drama, The Crucible, a drama that transports audiences back to 1692 and the witchcraft hysteria in Salem, Mass.

Performances are scheduled for Friday, Oct. 26 and Saturday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28, to be presented in the school's Performing Arts Center at 25 Olcott Avenue in Bernardsville, New Jersey. More than 40 students in grades 9 through 12 are involved in the production.

General admission is $15 for adults and $10 for students or senior citizens. Tickets may be purchased in the main office at Bernards High School or at Bernardsville Hardware Store. For more information or ticket reservations please email dramatickets@yahoo.com.

According to Dramatists Play Service, The Crucible “is both a gripping historical play and a timely parable of our contemporary society.”
