Bernardsville Police Say HQ Mold Issues Persist
Water leaking into the structure's ductwork is causing health concerns and forcing the borough to shut down heating and air conditioning to prevent its spread throughout the building.

Bernardsville Police say borough officials are "dragging their feet" to remediate mold and water damage issues that have developed over the last year in the department's 200-year-old headquarters, reports NJ.com.
Officers claim to have developed respiratory-type illnesses related to the water leaking into the building's ductwork, causing the department to file a complaint with the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration in February.
The borough administrator told NJ.com that the scope of the project made it difficult to get a quote for repairs from contractors.
