The snack bar also was due to be open.
Cheryl Ferrante, the borough's recreation director, said that the pool may close early, however, due to weather.
Pool hours will be part-time until June 21, she said.
The pool property had been broken into earlier this year, when thieves apparently entered through the fence and stole copper pipes and connectors during the off season.
Ferrante said on Friday that all of the piping and equipment has been replaced. But _ for the record — the new equipment is not made of copper, a material that apparently has risen in value.
Information and the registration form for signing up for the pool is online at the Bernardsville Borough website.
