Fall's Remaining Glory, Last Roses Of Summer

It may be November, but there still are remnants of fall color during what arguably is the most splendid season of the year in the Somerset Hills.

These trees were still showing their full colors on Friday at the Bernards Township-Bedminster border.

There also are some flowers hanging on for dear life until heavy frost — or who knows how long? — even the last roses of summer.
