Romantic Realism
When/Where: Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Center for Contemporary Art on Burnt Mills Road in Bedminster.
Why Go: This exhibit will present romantic realism works as curated by New Jersey painter Mel Leipzig, with the works of Daniel Finaldi, Linda Pochesci and Kyle Stevenson.

Jumpstart Your Job Search
When/Where: Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Bernardsville Public Library on Anderson Hill Road.
Why Go: This program is designed to help anyone looking for a new job, with information about what to include in a professional introduction, how to show off your knowledge and more. It will be held by management consultant Leo Lin, of Basking Ridge.
Cost: Free.

Storm Stories: A Writing Workshop
When/Where: Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Bernardsville Public Library on Anderson Hill Road.
Why Go: Writer and poet Julie Maloney will be holding a workshop to help people learn how to record their memories of Hurricane Sandy, and how to keep them alive through writing.
Cost: Free.
