Keep Reading for Bernardsville Library Program, Head Over to Senior Center

Somerset Hills senior citizens can dream a little of the beach on Wednesday at the Senior Wellness Center's Express your creative talents by painting and decorating various types of shells which will then be glued to string lights to decorate the Senior Wellness Center on Mount Airy Road.

The program, "Painting Seashells for Decorative Shell Lights” will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the center at 202 Mount Airy Road in Basking Ridge. 

Meanwhile, borough student readers should start signing up as soon as possible for an upcoming grand finale for the program — a big party with ice cream donated by Penguin Ice Cream of Bernardsville.

The party, scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15, also is being sponsored by the Friends of the Bernardsville Library.

Attendance at the ice cream party is free, but advance registration is required at www.bernardsvillelibrary.org. Follow the link under Kids, or call the library at 908-766-0118 to sign up. The library is at 1 Anderson Hill Road.
