Learn about Google Tools at Library Wednesday
Plus Bedminster Police issue safety reminder.

The Bernardsville Public Library on Wednesday is offering area residents an opportunity to learn something useful about Google Apps and Google Drive.
At both 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Library Director Karen Brodsky will speak about the Google suite of tools and explain how such technology can help you in organizing your life or work.
Brodsky will present a brief overview of Gmail and Google Mail, Google Drive (formerly Google Docs), Google Calendar, Google Sites, and more — their uses, advantages and disadvantages. The session is free, but advance sign-up is requested at the library at 1 Anderson Hill Road. Information is online.

No sign-up is needed, however, to use the library's Lego collection to build something wondrous at the Lego Open House from 3 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday. The family program is free.
But not all useful information comes out of a book. Bedminster Township Police Lt. Craig Meyer has issued a reminder to area residents to remember to lock their vehicles — and not to leave the key fob inside — following a string of thefts and break-ins in high-end vehicles in the Somerset Hills in the past several months.
