In an unexpected twist, Bedminster's Roger Temple, missing and believed endangered for more than a month, was arrested on a minor shoplifting charge in northern Manhattan — and released again. Authorities and searchers close to his home only found that Temple — who gave N.Y.C. police his real name and address — had been located after he was gone again.
