Report: Bernards High School Ranked Among Best in State
The schools were judged based state tests results and how well the students were prepared for college, according to the rankings.

The Somerset Hills Regional School District had its only high school ranked among the best high schools in the state according to U.S. News & World Report’s Best High Schools list.
Bernards High School in Bernardsville was ranked 27th in the state and 478th nationally, according to the report.
Bernards High School earned a gold medal from the publication.

The top school in New Jersey was Biotechnology High School in Freehold, which was ranked number 19 nationally. High Technology High School in the Lincroft section of Middletown and Bergen County Technical High School in Teterboro round out the top three.
U.S. News & World Report reviewed more than 21,000 public high schools nationwide. Schools were judged “based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college,’’ according to the website.
