School to be in Session on Presidents Day

And meetings are scheduled throughout Bernardsville and Bedminster.

It's Monday, the start of another work-week, the end of the weekend, and that can only mean one thing—it's time to look ahead to the week at hand.

It's going to be busy in Bernardsville and Bedminster, and we've got your list of things to look out for, from meetings to school activities and everything in between.

Friday, Feb. 15, had originally been scheduled for a day off from school for students in the Somerset Hills Regional School District. However, thanks to Superstorm Sandy, to make up for time lost.

Bedminster Township School will also be open Friday and Monday to make up for days lost during Superstorm Sandy.

Bernardsville Borough Hall, at 166 Mine Brook Road, is scheduled to be closed for Lincoln's Birthday on Tuesday.

Meetings this week are:

  • The Bernardsville Borough Council, mayor and council public and work, meeting will be held 7 p.m. on Monday in borough hall on Mine Brook Road.
  • The Bedminster Township Committee will hold a special budget meeting at 7 p.m. at the municipal building on Miller Lane. The committee will continue to hear requests from departments concerning the 2013 budget.
  • The Bernardsville Open Space Advisory Committee will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in borough hall. 
  • A Bedminster Township School PTO meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the school.
  • The Bedminster Open Space/Farmland Advisory Committee will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the municipal building on Miller Lane.
  • The Bernardsville Environmental Commission will hold its meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday in borough hall.
  • Thursday's previously scheduled Bedminster Land Use Board meeting has been cancelled.
  • The Bernardsville Planning Board Work or Committee meeting will be held at 7:30 pm. on Thursday in borough hall.
