Manhunt Will Not Result in Charges in Somerset County
The case is being handled by Hunterdon authorities.

The Somerset County Prosecutor's Office is not filing charges against a 29-year-old man who was taken into custody after fleeing the scene of an accident on Route 78 Wednesday.
Jack Bennett, with the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office, said the case is being completely handled by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office and the New Jersey State Police.
State Police did not have additional information on the case as of Thursday afternoon.

Daryl Haluszczak, of Flemington, was charged Wednesday with unlawful possession of weapons and possession of weapons for an unlawful purpose after he allegedly took weapons from a Hunterdon County house.
Officials from the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office said Haluszczak then crashed his vehicle on Interstate 78 and led authorities on a manhunt that ended near the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster.

Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony Kearns III said Wednesday that Haluszczak took weapons from a Readington Township home, and shots were reported to be fired on the property.
Following the crash, Kearns said, Haluszczak was involved in a motor vehicle crash and then fled the scene on foot with the weapons in his possession.
Haluszczak was taken into custody after a several-hour manhunt that included the State Police and the Somerset County SWAT team.
