The Bedminster Township Board of Education and the Bedminster Education Association have reached a tentative contract agreement as of Dec. 11. In a statement from board president Louis Casella, he said the two parties signed a Memorandum of Agreement for a successor agreement. Details are continuing to be worked out through the fact finder, which maintains jurisdiction over the contract, Casella said. "The parties are hopeful this process will reach a mutually agreeable conclusion shortly after the new year," he said in the statement. Pat Palmieri, co-president of the union, said more information will be available in the coming months. According to Bedminster Business Administrator Phil Acosta, the , and the two entities have been working on negotiations since then.
