Holiday Jubilee in Downtown Somerville

When: Friday, Dec. 1, 2023
Where: Downtown Somerville, 61 W. Main St., Somerville, NJ 08876
What: Start the holiday season with a quick trip to Downtown Somerville for the city’s Holiday Jubilee! The festivities start at 5:30 p.m. on the courthouse lawn with music and free ice skating. Then, head to Division Street at 7:00 p.m. for live entertainment and a visit from Santa at 7:30 p.m. Stick around to enjoy free carriage rides, photos with the man in red and holiday treats. 10th Annual Winter Market & Christmas Tree Lighting

When: Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023
Where: Downtown Basking Ridge, S. Finley Ave., Basking Ridge, NJ 07920
What: Just outside Bernardsville, explore the Winter Market at Bishop Janes United Methodist Church from 12:00-7:00 p.m.! From 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm, head over to the front steps of Coldwell Banker (1 S. Finley Ave) for the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony and live performances. Finally, from 5:45 pm to 6:45 pm, the kids can make their way to the front porch of Ridge Family Dentistry for a special meet-and-greet with Santa Claus. Click here for more info.

Township Tree Lighting

When: Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023
Where: Jacobus Vanderveer House & Museum, River Road Park, 3055 River Rd., Bedminster, NJ 07921
What: Bedminster Township’s Tree Lighting is coming to River Road Park! In addition to photos with Santa, guests can enjoy holiday music, colonial re-enactments, house tours and even decorating their own gingerbread man cookies. This free event runs from 2:30-5:30 p.m., with the lighting of the Liberty Tree at 5:30 p.m. Click here for more info.

Santa @ The Commons

When: Saturday, Nov. 11 - Sunday, Dec. 24, 2023
Where: Center Court, Bridgewater Commons, 400 Commons Way, Bridgewater, NJ 08807
What: Children of all ages can visit Santa at Bridgewater Commons, just a short drive from the Bernardsville-Bedminster area. Amidst garland-topped light curtains and candy-cane-inspired twists, you'll find Kris Kringle waiting in his velvet chair.
