2 Cars Stolen In Bloomfield, Including Rental: Police

A resident parked his rental car on the street shortly after midnight. It was gone less than half an hour later, police said.

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Bloomfield police have released information about two recent vehicle thefts that took place in the township, including a rental car.

The Bloomfield Police Department released the following details about the stolen cars:

Sept. 11 – “Officers responded to the 100-block of Davey Street on report of a motor vehicle theft. A resident parked her vehicle on the street overnight and when she returned the following morning, it was missing. Officers observed shattered glass where the vehicle was parked. The vehicle, a white 2024 Honda CR-V, was entered as stolen. This incident is under investigation.”

Sept. 13 – “Officers responded to the 100-block of Parkway East on report of a motor vehicle theft. A resident parked his rental vehicle on the street at 12:09 a.m., and at 12:33 a.m., he noticed it was missing. The vehicle, a blue 2025 Nissan Pathfinder, was entered as stolen. This incident is under investigation.”
