2 Abandoned Dogs Found Padlocked In Bloomfield Park: Shelter

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Two dogs were found padlocked and abandoned inside a park in Bloomfield on Wednesday morning.

According to the Bloomfield Animal Shelter, the pooches were found around 8 a.m. at the dog park in Watsessing Park:

“[The Bloomfield Police Department] and Animal Control responded to find two bully breeds padlocked inside the park. Both wearing chain collars, not microchipped, friendly. The brown is a female and the brindle is an intact male.”

“We are in the process of investigating this incident,” the shelter reported. “Please call us at (973) 748-0194 with any information to help identify them and/or their origin.”
